The best Cobrowse.io alternatives for 2026

By the GuidedView teamUpdated

Short answer

The right Cobrowse.io alternative depends on what you want to change. UserView by Upscope offers monthly billing and a self-serve trial, Surfly co-browses any website without code changes, ScreenMeet adds full device remote support inside ServiceNow and Salesforce, and Glance suits enterprise contact centers. GuidedView fits teams that would rather skip SDK work and simply see the customer's whole phone or computer screen during a call, for $29.99 a month.

Why look for a Cobrowse.io alternative?

Disclosure

GuidedView is our product. We include it where it fits and say plainly where another tool is the better choice. Competitor details were checked against each vendor's own pages in November 2026.

Cobrowse.io is an enterprise co-browsing platform from Cobrowse.io LLC that lets agents see and guide customers inside a business's own website, mobile apps and desktop apps. On the web, the business adds a JavaScript snippet to the head of its pages; on iOS, Android and desktop, it integrates the Cobrowse SDK into its own app. With that integration in place, agents can annotate, use a laser pointer and, if enabled, take remote control, which can require customer consent. An optional full device mode can show screens outside the app, but only if the business builds it in, which on iOS means adding a Broadcast Extension, and it is not available in mobile browsers. As of November 2026, Cobrowse.io lists $18 per agent per month for web co-browsing and $36 for web plus mobile apps, both billed annually, with no monthly option listed and no self-serve trial advertised. Enterprise pricing is custom.

Cobrowse.io's strengths are platform breadth, private-by-default redaction, audit capabilities and self-hosted or on-premise deployment. If those matter most and you have engineers to integrate the SDK, it may remain the best fit.

UserView by Upscope: self-serve co-browsing

UserView, Upscope's co-browsing product for support teams, is a similar model with self-serve buying. As of November 2026, the Core plan is $36 per agent per month billed monthly or $30 billed annually, with a 14-day free trial and no card required. Agents can see, draw, click, type and scroll in the customer's session, and native SDKs cover iOS, Android, Flutter and React Native. There are 20 or more one-click helpdesk and chat integrations, plus a REST API and webhooks.

Best for: support teams that want co-browsing with month-to-month billing. Watch-outs: it still requires a snippet or SDK, it shows only your own site or app, and recordings are a $10 per license add-on. See GuidedView vs Upscope.

Surfly: skip the integration step

Surfly removes the integration step. It is proxy-based co-browsing: the agent loads any website in a Surfly session and shares the link, with no code on the target site. Sessions support control switching, drawing, e-signatures, video and optional screen or camera sharing, with field masking, audit logs, server region pinning and private cloud or on-premise options. Session recording is an optional, customer-controlled feature.

Best for: teams guiding customers across websites, including ones they do not own. Watch-outs: Surfly publishes no prices as of November 2026, and we found no native mobile app SDK, so it does not replace Cobrowse.io inside iOS or Android apps. See GuidedView vs Surfly.

ScreenMeet: device support and co-browsing in the ticket

ScreenMeet is an enterprise remote support and screen sharing vendor that runs natively inside ServiceNow, Salesforce and Tanium. Its Remote Support product sees the end user's full computer or mobile device and can take control of Windows, Mac, Linux and Android devices; ScreenMeet Live handles browser screen sharing; and ScreenMeet CoBrowse is JavaScript-based co-browsing for your own pages. Session recording and audit are listed among its platform capabilities.

Best for: service desks that want full device support and co-browsing logged to the incident record. Watch-outs: pricing is quote-only per active agent seat on annual or multi-year agreements, iPhone customers download the ScreenMeet Support app, and iOS remote control is not available. See GuidedView vs ScreenMeet.

Glance: co-browsing plus camera and screen share

Glance is an enterprise contact center option. It combines website co-browsing, two-way screen sharing, mobile app co-browsing, mobile camera sharing and video in one platform, embedded in Salesforce, Genesys and Microsoft Dynamics, with session data synced to CRM records. Glance states that the contents of its sessions are never recorded or stored on its servers.

Best for: large enterprises that want co-browsing alongside camera and screen sharing. Watch-outs: like Cobrowse.io, co-browsing needs code (a script tag on every page agents should see, and an SDK for mobile apps), and Glance publishes no prices. See GuidedView vs Glance.

GuidedView: nothing to integrate

GuidedView answers a different question: what if you do not integrate anything? There is no SDK, snippet or IT deployment. The customer shares their whole screen from the free GuidedView app on iPhone, iPad or Android, or from a supported desktop browser, after confirming they are on a call with you and approving. You see any app or website on that screen, not only yours, but you cannot control it; the customer taps while you talk. Sessions are live only, one-time links expire, and customers can pause before private steps.

Best for: teams without engineering time, or whose customers get stuck outside their app. Price: $29.99 per month, billed monthly. See security.

Co-browsing or screen sharing?

Stay with co-browsing if

  • Your agents need to click, fill in fields or navigate for the customer.
  • Customers' problems happen inside your own website or app.
  • You have engineers to install and maintain a snippet or SDK.
  • You want masking of specific fields built into the session.

Consider screen sharing if

  • Customers get stuck in device settings, email or other companies' sites.
  • You cannot add code to your site or app, or do not have one.
  • Your agents talk customers through steps on a phone call.
  • You want the customer to do every tap themselves.

Questions

How much does Cobrowse.io cost?

As of November 2026, Cobrowse.io lists $18 per agent per month for web co-browsing and $36 per agent per month for web plus mobile apps, both billed annually. Custom pricing covers large agent counts, alternate licensing and self-hosting. The pricing page does not advertise a self-serve trial but offers a free technical evaluation.

Can Cobrowse.io see outside my app?

Yes, with extra work. Full device mode lets agents view screens outside the business's app, such as system settings, on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and desktop browsers, but the business must enable it in its SDK integration and add a Broadcast Extension on iOS. It is not available in mobile browsers.

Is there a Cobrowse.io alternative with monthly billing?

Yes. As of November 2026, UserView's Core plan is $36 per agent per month billed monthly, and GuidedView is $29.99 per month billed monthly with cancellation from the portal. Glance, Surfly and ScreenMeet do not publish prices.

Can Cobrowse.io control an iPhone?

Not the whole device. Cobrowse.io says full device remote control is not supported on iOS because of Apple's restrictions. On Android, full device remote control works through an Accessibility Service the user enables. GuidedView is view-only on every device, so the customer always does the tapping.

Do customers install anything with these tools?

With Cobrowse.io, UserView and Glance co-browsing, customers install nothing beyond your own app, because your site or app carries the code. Surfly runs in the browser. ScreenMeet's device support uses its Support app. GuidedView customers install the free GuidedView app on iPhone or Android, and nothing on a computer.
