The best Glance alternatives for 2026

By the GuidedView teamUpdated

Short answer

Which Glance alternative fits depends on which part of Glance you use. Cobrowse.io and UserView by Upscope publish per-agent co-browsing prices, Surfly co-browses any site without code changes, ScreenMeet embeds remote support in ServiceNow and Salesforce, and Viewabo covers camera sharing with public pricing. GuidedView fits teams that want to see a caller's whole phone or computer screen with no code at all, for $29.99 a month.

Why compare Glance alternatives?

Disclosure

GuidedView is our product. We include it where it fits and say plainly where another tool is the better choice. Competitor details were checked against each vendor's own pages in November 2026.

Glance, from Glance Networks and now at glance.cx, is an enterprise guided customer experience platform. It combines website co-browsing, screen sharing in both directions, co-browsing inside mobile apps, mobile camera sharing and video, and it embeds those tools in Salesforce, Genesys, Microsoft Dynamics and other CRM and contact center systems. Its privacy design is a strength: Glance says the contents of its sessions are never recorded or stored on its servers, and it supports field masking and redaction. Two facts are worth weighing before a switch. First, Glance publishes no prices; as of November 2026 there is no pricing page, and buyers are routed to a demo request. Second, co-browsing requires a Glance script tag on every page an agent should be able to see, pages without it pause the agent's view, and co-browsing inside a mobile app requires the Glance SDK. Mobile Camera Share is the exception, starting from an SMS link with no app or website integration.

Cobrowse.io: co-browsing with a published price

Cobrowse.io is a co-browsing replacement with a published price. As of November 2026, web co-browsing is $18 per agent per month and web plus mobile apps is $36, both billed annually, with custom pricing for large teams and self-hosting. SDKs cover web, iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, .NET, Windows and macOS, and an optional full device mode can show screens outside your app when you build it in. Redaction is private by default.

Best for: enterprises with engineering teams and their own apps. Watch-outs: integration is still required, monthly billing is not listed, and no self-serve trial is advertised. See GuidedView vs Cobrowse.io.

UserView by Upscope: start without a sales call

UserView, Upscope's support co-browsing product, is the self-serve option. As of November 2026 the Core plan is $36 per agent per month billed monthly or $30 annually, with a 14-day trial and no card required, and Enterprise is tailored pricing billed annually. Agents can click, type, scroll and draw in the customer's session, sensitive elements can be masked, and it connects to 20 or more helpdesk and chat tools.

Best for: support teams that want to start quickly without a procurement cycle. Watch-outs: you still install a snippet or SDK, and session recordings are a paid add-on. See GuidedView vs Upscope.

GuidedView: one job, no rollout

If your agents mostly use Glance to see what a customer is looking at, GuidedView is a lighter tool for that one job. There is nothing to tag or embed. The agent texts or emails a one-time link during the call, the customer opens it on their iPhone, Android phone or computer, confirms they are on a call with the sender and approves. The agent sees the whole screen, so any app or website works, but cannot control it. GuidedView does not record or store screen video.

Best for: teams that need a fast look at a caller's screen without an enterprise project. Watch-outs: no co-browsing, camera sharing or video chat. Price: $29.99 per month, billed monthly. See how it works.

ScreenMeet: CRM-embedded remote support

ScreenMeet suits teams that value Glance's CRM embedding. It runs natively in ServiceNow, Salesforce and Tanium, logs every action to the incident record and offers three products: Remote Support for full device screen sharing and control of Windows, Mac, Linux and Android devices, ScreenMeet Live for browser screen sharing, and ScreenMeet CoBrowse for your own web pages. Session recording and audit are listed among its platform capabilities.

Best for: IT and Salesforce Service Cloud teams that want remote control as well as co-browsing. Watch-outs: pricing is quote-only per active agent seat on annual or multi-year agreements, and iPhone remote control is not available. See GuidedView vs ScreenMeet.

Surfly: no tagging required

Surfly solves the tagging problem from the other direction. As a proxy-based co-browsing tool, it works on any website, including third-party sites, without code changes: load the page, copy the Surfly link and share it. Sessions can include control switching, drawing, e-signatures, video and optional screen or camera sharing, and Surfly offers region pinning, private cloud and on-premise deployment.

Best for: teams guiding customers through web journeys they do not fully control. Watch-outs: no public pricing, and we found no native mobile app SDK, so it covers web pages rather than Glance's in-app co-browsing. See GuidedView vs Surfly.

Viewabo: replace Mobile Camera Share

Viewabo replaces one specific part of Glance: camera sharing. A business texts or emails a link and sees through the customer's smartphone camera in Safari (iOS 11 or later) or Chrome (Android 5.0 or later), with no app and no account. As of November 2026, Starter is $79 per month billed annually or $99 monthly for unlimited seats and 50 sessions, with $3.00 per extra session and a 14-day trial. Sessions are recorded, with retention of 90, 180 or 365 days by plan.

Best for: hardware and field service teams that need to see a physical problem. Watch-outs: it shows only the camera, not the phone's screen. See GuidedView vs Viewabo.

Questions

How much does Glance cost?

Glance does not publish pricing. As of November 2026, glance.cx has no pricing page and routes buyers to a demo request, so you need a quote. Among the alternatives here, Cobrowse.io, UserView, Viewabo and GuidedView publish prices, while Surfly and ScreenMeet are quote-based.

Does Glance record sessions?

Glance's documentation says the contents of Glance sessions, including screen sharing, co-browsing and video, are never recorded or stored on Glance's servers, while session metadata is logged to integrated systems such as Salesforce. GuidedView also does not record or store screen video.

Is glance.net the same as glance.cx?

Yes. glance.net now redirects to glance.cx. It is a domain change for the same company, Glance Networks, which markets its platform as Glance CX. Older bookmarks and documentation links may still use the glance.net address.

Which Glance alternative needs no website integration?

Surfly co-browses sites through a proxy without code changes, Viewabo needs nothing installed for camera sessions, and GuidedView needs no code because the customer shares their own screen. Cobrowse.io and UserView require a snippet or SDK, as Glance co-browsing does.

Can an alternative replace Glance's camera sharing?

For camera-based help, Viewabo offers browser-based smartphone camera sessions with public pricing, and SightCall and TechSee are enterprise platforms built around the customer's camera. GuidedView shares a device's screen, not its camera, so it fits problems inside an app or website rather than physical equipment.
