The best LogMeIn Rescue alternatives for 2026

By the GuidedView teamUpdated

Short answer

LogMeIn Resolve, from the same company, publishes its prices and bundles RMM. BeyondTrust Remote Support matches Rescue's enterprise auditing. ScreenConnect and Splashtop publish per-technician prices with iPhone and Android support on Standard and SOS. Zoho Assist is the low-cost option. GuidedView suits customer care teams that only need to see a caller's phone or computer screen during the call, for $29.99 a month billed monthly.

Why look beyond LogMeIn Rescue?

Disclosure

GuidedView is our product. We include it where it fits and say plainly where another tool is the better choice. Competitor details were checked against each vendor's own pages in November 2026.

LogMeIn Rescue is an enterprise remote support platform from GoTo Group for IT and customer care teams. Technicians work from a console with session transfer, multi-agent collaboration, scripting, detailed reporting, SSO and forced screen recording, and they connect to customers by PIN code, link or SMS. Those controls are why large help desks choose it. The reasons to compare alternatives are cost visibility and setup. As of November 2026, LogMeIn's pricing page publishes no Rescue prices: Remote Device Support offers a demo or a free start, and Rescue Enterprise says to contact sales. Smartphone and tablet support, the SMS connection method and the in-app SDK are included only with the Mobile Support Add-On, and iPhone sessions need an active Rescue+Mobile license. On computers, customers enter a 6-digit PIN at LogMeIn123.com and run the Rescue applet. Instant Chat works without a download, but screen viewing uses the applet.

LogMeIn Resolve: same company, published prices

LogMeIn Resolve, formerly GoTo Resolve, is an IT management platform from the same company as Rescue, and it publishes its prices. As of November 2026, Advanced is $2.50 per endpoint per month, billed at $749 a year for a 25-endpoint minimum, with unlimited users and one Remote Support license; Complete is $899 a year and adds MDM for Android, iOS, macOS and Windows. Android remote control, iOS remote view, in-session VoIP and session recording are listed on every plan, and support keys go out by link, SMS or email.

Best for: internal IT teams that want remote support plus RMM, patching and ticketing. Watch-outs: instant support is limited to Remote Support license holders, and Starter lists that license as an add-on without a published price. See GuidedView vs LogMeIn Resolve.

BeyondTrust Remote Support: enterprise controls and auditing

BeyondTrust Remote Support, formerly Bomgar, is a close match for Rescue's enterprise controls. It runs in the cloud or as a self-hosted appliance, keeps Jump Clients on devices for unattended access, can automatically record a video whenever a customer shares a screen and integrates with CRM, ITSM, SIEM and password tools, with an open API for anything else.

Best for: large or regulated service desks that need audited, policy-controlled access. Watch-outs: like Rescue, it is quote-only as of November 2026. Computer customers run an elevated customer client, iPhones are view-only through a screen recording broadcast, and Android control is officially supported only on certain phones, tablets and Zebra devices. See GuidedView vs BeyondTrust.

ScreenConnect: attended and unattended with a visible price

ScreenConnect, sold by ConnectWise, publishes per-technician pricing. As of November 2026, Standard is $47 per month per concurrent technician billed annually or $62 billed monthly, with up to three sessions per technician, iPhone and Android guest clients, session recording, VoIP audio and unlimited unattended agents. Premium adds video auditing at $57 per month billed annually.

Best for: IT teams and MSPs that want attended and unattended support without a sales cycle. Watch-outs: the $30 One plan omits phones and recording, guests run a client on computers, and Android control depends on the brand and Android version. See GuidedView vs ScreenConnect.

GuidedView: when the agent only needs to see

If your care team mainly needs to see what a customer sees, GuidedView does only that. It is view-only, works alongside the phone call you are already on and starts from a one-time link you text or email. The customer confirms they are on a call with you, approves sharing and can pause before typing a password or payment details; only they can resume. iPhone and Android customers install a free app, and computer users share from a supported browser with nothing to download.

Best for: care teams that guide customers through apps and websites rather than fixing devices. Watch-outs: no remote control, no unattended access and no recordings. Price: $29.99 per month for each account, billed monthly. See security and privacy.

Splashtop Remote Support: phones included, not an add-on

Splashtop's SOS plan starts at $22 per month per concurrent technician license, billed annually at $259 or $399 depending on whether you need 10 or 300 managed computers, as of November 2026. Unlike Rescue, attended iPhone and Android support, chat, an in-session voice call and session recording are part of the entry plan rather than an add-on. Admin elevation, reboot and reconnect, and ITSM and PSA integrations are available, and Remote Support Enterprise is quote-only.

Best for: help desks that want published pricing with phones included. Watch-outs: yearly billing only, and customers download the SOS app and read out a 9-digit code. See GuidedView vs Splashtop.

Zoho Assist: the low-cost option

Zoho Assist is the budget alternative. As of November 2026, Remote Support Standard is US$10 per technician per month billed annually or US$12 monthly, mobile support starts on Professional at US$15, and session recording starts on Enterprise at US$24. It integrates with Zendesk, ServiceNow, Freshservice, Freshdesk and Jira, and there is a free plan.

Best for: smaller care or IT teams that want full computer control with monthly billing. Watch-outs: unattended access is a separate plan line, iPhones are view-only, and Windows customers run a small download. See GuidedView vs Zoho Assist.

How to plan a move off LogMeIn Rescue

  1. List the Rescue features you actually use

If you depend on forced recording, scripting, SSO, session transfer or detailed reporting, confirm each one with any replacement. BeyondTrust's automatic recording and audit controls are the closest documented match on this list.

  2. Split IT sessions from customer care sessions

Fixing a managed laptop needs remote control. Walking a customer through an app on their own phone often needs only a view of the screen.

  3. Compare like with like on price

Rescue and BeyondTrust are quote-only, Resolve prices by endpoint, and ScreenConnect, Splashtop and Zoho Assist price by technician or concurrent technician.

  4. Test with real customer devices

Have a colleague join from an iPhone, an Android phone and a computer so you see exactly what customers install and tap.

Questions

How much does LogMeIn Rescue cost?

LogMeIn does not publish Rescue prices. As of November 2026, its pricing page offers a demo or free start for Remote Device Support and a contact form for Rescue Enterprise, and mobile device support is a separate add-on. Ask for a quote that includes the mobile add-on if your customers call from phones.

Is LogMeIn Resolve the same as LogMeIn Rescue?

No. Both come from GoTo Group, but Resolve is an IT management platform priced per managed endpoint that combines remote support with RMM, patching and helpdesk tools. Rescue is an attended remote support platform for help desks and customer care, sold by quote. Resolve was formerly called GoTo Resolve.

Which Rescue alternatives can view an iPhone screen?

LogMeIn Resolve, BeyondTrust, ScreenConnect (Standard and above), Splashtop and Zoho Assist (Professional and above) can all view an iPhone screen through an app and Apple's screen broadcast, and none of them can control it. GuidedView also views iPhones through its free app and Apple's screen broadcast.

Do any alternatives offer forced recording like Rescue?

BeyondTrust can automatically record a video whenever a customer shares a screen. Splashtop admins can turn on automatic recording by policy, and ScreenConnect Premium adds video auditing. GuidedView is the opposite: it never records or stores screen video, so it is not a fit if you must keep recordings.

Can customers join without downloading anything?

On computers, Rescue's Instant Chat works without a download, but screen viewing uses the applet. LogMeIn Resolve lists clientless instant support and asks for a small applet only when remote control is requested. GuidedView computer users share from a supported desktop browser with no download; iPhone and Android users install a free app.
